People often ask me,” What is your story?”
a question that I often stumble upon. I then pause and begin reminiscing about my childhood. It takes me back to the time when I lived in a bubble, shielded from all the pain and failed expectations. The pleasant memories surge in, replaying in my mind like a ninetees nostalgic movie, and I begin to smile. Although, some memories used to hurt like a needle pinning in my heart and made me question my very existence in life.
“What am I made of”? I start to ponder upon the question once again. Am I just an insignificant fragment of dust in the universe, or do I have a purpose in life? The answer is yet to be found. But I’ve realized that my scars make me who I am. All the ups and downs in life produced a new self of me. The failures, disappointments, and heartache broke me from the core and then built me up again bit by bit – stronger, more confident, and resilient than ever.
Now, I’ve stopped looking back at those moments bitterly but rather tenderly. It was life’s most significant lessons indeed that taught me to be bold and to take my stand. They’re right when they say Life is a climb with million stepping stones, yet the journey makes it worth to live, love and laugh
